Type “Elle Smith” into any search box and the results tell very different stories: a Kentucky broadcast journalist who became Miss USA 2021, a model-roster name, and a London-based poster. This guide separates what is verified about each, then weighs the relationship rumors linking the name to England footballer Leah Williamson against the public record.

What is Elle Smith’s nationality?
Elle Smith is American, and the verified part of her identity is a compact, well-sourced story. The search confusion starts only when you try to merge that story with every other profile using the same name.
Who is Elle Smith?
- Full name and birth: Ellen Elizabeth Smith, born 19 June 1998 in Springfield, Ohio, USA (Wikipedia (biographical entry)).
- Early life: Shawnee High School class of 2016 (Seventeen, young-adult magazine).
- University: University of Kentucky class of 2020, broadcast journalism (UK College of Communication and Information).
- Broadcast career: joined WHAS-TV in Louisville as a multimedia journalist in October 2020 and served as vice president of the University of Kentucky NABJ chapter (NHPR, NPR member station).
Before the crown, the thread was consistent: local journalism and campus leadership.
What is Elle Smith known for?
- Miss USA 2021: crowned in November 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma (Seventeen (young-adult magazine)).
- Miss Kentucky USA 2021: won in May 2021 in her first pageant (UK College of Communication and Information).
- Miss Universe 2021: Top 10 finish (Seventeen, young-adult magazine).
- Advocacy: cervical-cancer awareness, shaped by her grandmother’s death from the disease in 2015 (AL.com (regional news outlet)).
Those titles made her name searchable around the world — and made the later mix-ups almost inevitable. For context on the pageant’s wider history, see Miss USA 2021 winners and history.
What is Elle Smith’s ethnicity?
- Reported background: biracial, with a Black father and a white mother (KRNL Magazine (UK student magazine)).
- Parents: Samuel Clayborne, a photographer, and Lydia Smith, a classically trained pianist (University of Kentucky Alumni (university profile)).
Smith has described a household shaped by music, with her mother’s piano training and her own background in viola and singing (AL.com, regional news outlet). The detail matters because “Elle Smith ethnicity” searches usually come from readers trying to match a face to a biography.
When is Elle Smith’s birthday?
- Recorded birth date and place: 19 June 1998, Springfield, Ohio, USA.
- Why it’s searched: several public profiles share the name, so a birth date is one of the few reliable ways to tell them apart.
The date comes from the Wikipedia biography cited above. It’s the same date used throughout this page. The pattern: the pageant credentials are public, sourced, and consistent. What’s missing is any verified thread connecting the Miss USA biography to a London-based creator or to Leah Williamson.
Who are some famous celebrities named Elle?
Part of the confusion is that “Elle Smith” is a name, not a single biography. Search engines surface at least three different public profiles under that name.
Who is Ellen Smith?
- Spelling variant: “Ellen Smith” is the legal-first-name version of the Miss USA winner, whose full name is Ellen Elizabeth Smith.
- Search behavior: people who type “Ellen Smith” are usually looking for the same person, not a separate celebrity.
Which public figures share the name Elle Smith?
- Elle Smith (Miss USA 2021): journalist and pageant titleholder, born 1998.
- Elle Smith (model): appears on a model-agency roster under the same name.
- Elle Smith (London creator): an Instagram profile listing London, UK, with a January 2026 post tagging @wearetala.
How can you tell Elle Smiths apart?
If a profile mentions a pageant crown, Louisville TV, or a 1998 Ohio birth date, it’s the Miss USA winner. If it mentions London or a model roster, treat it as a separate person until a verifiable source connects them.
The trade-off: disambiguation is simple for a careful reader, but search engines keep collapsing the profiles — which is how the relationship rumor gained traction.
How long have Elle Smith and Leah Williamson been together?
The short answer: there is no verifiable answer. Neither Elle Smith nor Leah Williamson has confirmed a relationship, so any “how long” figure would be guesswork.
Who is Elle Smith’s partner?
- Confirmed partner: none named in the reviewed sources.
- Search-driven answer: Leah Williamson appears in related searches because of shared-name profiles and social proximity.
- Proof standard: a relationship claim needs a direct statement or a clear joint appearance; neither exists in the provided material.
When did Elle Smith and Leah Williamson meet?
The earliest concrete marker in this story is not a meeting. It’s a January 2026 Instagram post from one Elle Smith in London, tagging @wearetala — a post that doesn’t name Leah Williamson.
What is the relationship timeline?
- No start date is documented in the reviewed sources.
- The pageant and football milestones from 2021 and 2022 don’t overlap in any verified public event.
- The 2026 London Instagram post is a location signal, not a relationship announcement.
The implication: a relationship can’t be dated until it’s confirmed. What search queries treat as a timeline is actually a gap in the record.
Are Leah Williamson and Elle Smith still together?
There is no confirmed “together” in the first place, so “still together” is a question the sources can’t answer.
Has Leah Williamson dated men?
- No verified dating history with men appears in the reviewed sources.
- Profile coverage of Williamson focuses on football, not on a public romantic history.
Are Leah Williamson and Jordan Nobbs together?
- Jordan Nobbs is an England international footballer; the connection to Williamson is professional, based on the national-team setup.
- No statement from either player confirms a romance.
Does Leah Williamson have a husband?
- No reviewed source says Williamson has a husband.
- The question appears to come from search behavior around her private life, not from a documented marriage.
Is Lucy Bronze in a relationship?
- Lucy Bronze’s relationship status is not documented in the provided material.
- The query is another example of England-teammate curiosity, not a verified biographical fact.
What this means: absence of confirmation is not confirmation of absence. But it also means any “are they still together” headline is built on hope rather than source material.
How much is Leah Williamson worth?
Leah Williamson, a centre-back for Arsenal W.F.C. and England, was born on 29 March 1997, has spoken publicly about dyslexia, and captained her national team to victory at UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 before an ACL injury ruled her out of the 2023 Women’s World Cup (Wikipedia (biographical entry)). None of that provides a net-worth figure — and the reviewed sources don’t offer one.
How old is Leah Williamson?
- Born: 29 March 1997, as noted above.
- Age answers: usually appear beside relationship queries, not financial disclosures.
What condition does Leah Williamson have?
- Dyslexia: Williamson has publicly discussed it.
- ACL injury: the 2023 World Cup absence was injury-related, not a chronic condition.
What is Leah Williamson known for?
- Club football: Arsenal W.F.C.
- International football: England, including the Euro 2022 captaincy.
- Public profile: one of the most visible players in English women’s football.
The trade-off: public interest in a net-worth number is real, but a number without a source is worse than no number. Until Williamson or a reliable financial record publishes a figure, treat every “Leah Williamson net worth” result as guesswork.

The paper trail
“The New Miss USA Is Elle Smith, a Local TV Reporter From Kentucky.”
NHPR — NPR member station in New Hampshire
“Miss USA 2021: Miss Kentucky USA takes the crown.”
AL.com — regional news outlet
Why these matter: the pageant win was reported as news, with named outlets and specific dates. The relationship speculation has none of that institutional paper trail. Bottom line: Elle Smith the Miss USA 2021 winner is a well-documented journalist and pageant titleholder; the model and London-based creator sharing her name are separate profiles in the reviewed sources. For anyone writing about the Leah Williamson question, the responsible move is clear: anchor every pageant and football fact to the cited record, label the relationship unconfirmed, and don’t let a name collision masquerade as a romance.
