Newsletter

Our weekly newsletter brings you a carefully curated digest of the most compelling stories from across the UK’s urban landscape. Each edition delivers a hand-picked selection of city culture, event previews, food and drink discoveries, nightlife recommendations and lifestyle features, all designed to help you make the most of your city experience. Whether you are looking for the best new restaurant in Manchester, a weekend festival in Glasgow, an emerging artist’s exhibition in Bristol or a late-night gig in London, the briefing consolidates the essential reading from the week’s coverage into one concise, readable format.

What the briefing contains

The newsletter includes a mix of original features, curated event picks, venue recommendations and practical guides. You will find highlights from our latest city guides, exclusive interviews, restaurant and bar reviews, music and nightlife listings, cultural trend analysis and lifestyle round-ups. Special sections cover seasonal events, major festival launches, bank holiday plans and city-specific spotlights. Every edition is edited for clarity and relevance, with direct links to the full articles on UrbanMixr.uk.

Frequency and special editions

You will receive the newsletter once a week, typically sent on Thursday morning to help you plan your weekend. During festival season — including summer music festivals, Christmas markets, cultural biennales and major city-wide events such as the Edinburgh Festival Fringe — we publish additional special editions. These may include dedicated previews, programme highlights, ticketing alerts and curated itineraries. Special editions are clearly labelled in the subject line so you can identify them at a glance.

Curated by our editorial team

The newsletter is curated by the full UrbanMixr.uk editorial team under the direction of Editor-in-Chief Andreas Nicolaou (read more about our team). Every edition reflects the same editorial standards applied across the publication: independent, accurate, focused on UK city culture and audience needs. Commercial relationships never influence what is selected for inclusion, and any sponsored content or affiliate links within the newsletter are clearly labelled in accordance with our advertising and affiliate disclosure.
