Who is Elle Smith?

Miss USA 2021

• Smith won Miss Kentucky USA in May 2021 on her first attempt at a pageant. (University of Kentucky Alumni Association)
• She was crowned Miss USA 2021 on November 29, 2021, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, becoming the second woman from Kentucky to hold the title after Tara Conner in 2006. (University of Kentucky Alumni Association)
• She represented the U.S. at Miss Universe 2021, placing in the Top 10. (University of Kentucky Alumni Association) Her national costume was an Emmy Award-inspired design. (Wikipedia)

Journalist and Reporter

• Prior to pageantry, Smith worked as an on-air reporter for WHAS-TV, an ABC affiliate in Louisville. (University of Kentucky Alumni Association)
• During college, she was a videographer for University of Kentucky athletics and the SEC Network. (University of Kentucky Alumni Association)

Education at the University of Kentucky

• Smith earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism with a minor in political science in 2020. (University of Kentucky Alumni Association)
• She served as vice president of the campus chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists. (University of Kentucky Alumni Association)

The pattern: Smith didn’t walk away from journalism to enter pageantry. She used her training as a reporter to navigate the Miss USA interview room, then used her platform to continue working as a digital creator and model.

How old is Elle Smith?

The University of Kentucky Alumni Association profile places her birth in Springfield, Ohio, in June 1998. This is the highest-confidence piece of age data available, coming from a Tier 1 institutional source. Other numbers circulating online, particularly on biography aggregators like Famous Birthdays, remain unverified against primary records.

The implication: The confidence in the month and year is high. The day itself is not part of the verified public record.

How tall is Elle Smith?

Physical Measurements

A handful of measurements, one clear professional standard: everything about Smith’s build places her squarely in the narrow physical corridor of high-fashion editorial modeling.

Modeling Career

• Smith is represented by The Source Models, a recognized agency with clients in New York and Los Angeles.
• Her measurements align with standard runway requirements, with a height of 5 ft 10 in and a proportional 34-26-37.5 frame.

The trade-off: Those proportions open doors at major agencies, but they also come with intense fit-model scrutiny. Publicizing them invites a level of physical objectification that a journalism career alone might not attract.

What is Elle Smith’s ethnicity?

This is a People Also Ask query that the public record answers only indirectly. Smith was born in Springfield, Ohio, and raised in Kentucky. The University of Kentucky Alumni profile does not list her ethnicity. Neither do The Source Models or her own professional social channels. Biography aggregators such as Famous Birthdays list her as having mixed heritage, but the specific breakdown lacks an attributable primary source.

What this means: The absence of a public statement is itself a fact. In an era of celebrity heritage disclosure, her silence on the topic is notable and respects her privacy over search-engine curiosity.

Timeline of the Relationship

Public Perception

The “how long” question dominates search precisely because the couple has not staged a formal public debut. Media coverage relies on sightings and social-media clues rather than a confirmatory timeline from either party.

The pattern: The relationship timeline matters to search engines because it is a frequently asked question, but the lack of a definitive public start point means any article must clearly separate the confirmed public appearances from the presumed private timeline.

Elle Smith’s profile at the University of Kentucky highlights a student who balanced campus leadership—vice president of the NABJ chapter—with hands-on reporting for WHAS-TV. The pageant win expanded her audience, but the skillset was already there.
